Job Advertisement: Operator at 135th Security Squadron

As an operator at the 135th Security Squadron, you will work within the military security service with a focus on gathering security intelligence aimed at indicating and identifying suspected security threats against the Armed Forces' protected assets.

In your employment, you will work on a highly relevant task with a constantly changing threat landscape. The work is very long-term and is conducted with high discretion. As a person, you should be patient, results-oriented, and have a high ability for creative thinking.

The 135th Security Squadron is currently seeking:

• Technical personnel (GSS-K)
• Logistics assistant (GSS-K)
• Staff assistant (GSS-K)
• Soldier (GSS-K)

For the soldier position, we primarily recruit for deputy group leader, dog handler, color soldier, medic, support shooter.

Main Responsibilities

The daily work is varied and includes everything from training and education to the execution of operational activities. An important part is also the development of operations within your future work area.

The employment begins with approximately a 6-month basic course, after which you will be placed in a suitable position based on your results. Position-specific training begins after the common basic course.

REQUIREMENTS Qualifications

• Approved high school education.
• Completed and approved military basic training.
• Driver's license B.
• Swedish citizenship.
• No pet allergies.
• Completed and approved results in accordance with FMFysS.
• Approved results on selection tests after overall assessment.

MERITORIOUS

• Experience and education in covert gathering in terrain and urban environments.
• Work in security unit service or reconnaissance service in the Armed Forces or similar company/authority.
• Completed and approved military police training.
• Military driver's licenses and further driving training civilian/military.
• Experience from national/international missions.
• Medical training CLS, hunter medic, advanced medic (soldier).
• Fieldwork training mainly mine and demolition service as well as breaching (soldier).
• Electrician training (technical personnel).
• Previous work with IT/network (technical personnel).
• Armed Forces technical systems e.g. Rpas, TMM or other surveillance systems (technical personnel).
• Work with alarm systems or other forms of camera and surveillance systems (technical personnel).
• Experience and education in communication and command systems as well as electronic warfare (communication officer).
• Other driving license categories e.g. C, CE, truck, wheel loader (logistics personnel).
• Experience and work in logistics supply (logistics personnel).

Other

Employment type: Fixed-term GSS agreement. The Armed Forces applies a six-month probationary period for those who are not employed by the authority.

Location: Kungsängen, Life Guards.

During the recruitment process, selection tests according to the above requirements will be conducted over four days. The test will be physically and mentally demanding, and you should not drive a car on the Sunday after the test.

Test date: 20260409-12. The tests will be conducted near the Life Guards.

Employment start: 1/9 2026.
